He was actually being cool by not making a note in the system to not do a return. At least he gave you the chance to fix it. Be grateful they'll do it at all. Good luck getting it un-rooted.

You may wanna know the whole story before you try to tell someone off...
FACT is every single issue that my phone has, it had before I rooted it or made any changes to it. All of these problems showed up in the first 5 days of owning the phone so rooting it is not what broke it. FACT # 2 Neither you nor that guy are the freakin phone hacking police and need to stick to your job which is to service customers NOT look for reasons not to honor your return/exchange policy. FACT # 3 if I really wanted to make a big deal about it I could have simply asked the manager to show me a written sign that is in plain public view and prove that best buy did its due diligence in making me fully aware that rooting my phone would allow them break the terms of there written and published return and exchange policy.
Also, I dont need your wish of good luck getting the phone unrooted I already unrooted it and returned it back to stock and the best buy around the block from my house is getting another shipment this week and are holding one for me when they come in. If that fails (and it wont) my cousin works for best buy in the phone dept about 40 miles from my house he already told me he could make it happen for me.
Furthermore, since you wanna try to be smart... I'm well aware of how notations in systems work and was well aware before I went into the store that they may try something like that and didnt give him or anymore else my phone number, sprint account number or name so that no notes could be made. Good night.
