Re: Sprint Announces Android 2.2 Upgrade for HTC EVO 4G
Yeah, but the EVO has sold more and has a greater potential for competition. The Pre was kind of a flop.

Re: Sprint Announces Android 2.2 Upgrade for HTC EVO 4G
Sprint needs to advertise this Evo... I'm seeing a lot of internet ads but no television ads showing off the features...
Let's see some ads advertising video chats, UI speed, the video camera, gaming and the massive screen. Why can't we work for Sprint marketing dept? They are talking about the Droid X more than the Evo... Sprint cannot afford to let the Evo just fade into the background... Come on Hesse... Let's get your people on it!!!... |

Well hopefully they won't show the UI in a commercial cause then people would see all the scrolling lag!

Re: Sprint Announces Android 2.2 Upgrade for HTC EVO 4G
Saw my first EVO commercial last night on tv although I must admit I don't watch too much tv. I love the jit speeds on the 2.2 ROMs out now but I really need my camera

I say the 2.2 update will be out within the next few months. You have to realize they just finished the final version (but google's always in beta mode ) and sprint has to add all their crapware and test it before it can be released.

also, the iphone was a hit to the market who did not know what they were not getting. as they realized that they could not even send picture mail, shoot a video, or cut and paste text, they had to turn to one man, steve jobs, to save their $600 paperweight. seems sort of twisted, but isn't this what happend to hostages? they are captured, then suffer, only to have small bits of hope thrown at them in order to gain thier allegience?
