Any way to update Facebook contact pics?

So I posted this in the Incredible forum, but there's little to no activity over there. I figured if EVO has Android and Sense UI it must be similar.

How do you update the Facebook contact pictures? They always stay the same, and I see no where to update or refresh. Wanna stay up to date.

Mine was setup by default to auto-sync. Check settings > accounts and sync > facebook for htc sense - sync contacts. You can manually run it, or set it to auto-update.

I have manually refreshed them in the "people" app as well. go to the internet icon thingy and click on facebook, then menu, then refresh. that picks up the new pics for me.

A word of warning about the auto refresh. I think it caused me some serious problems today. The people process was constantly using about 30% cpu and was downloading tons of data. It burned through my battery in less than 4 hours and my device was rebooting on it's frequently. I would just go in and manually update it every once in while, just in case.

What did you have the sync frequency set at? Mine is set for once a day.

Mine was set for once a day too and was working fine for a while, but today it started going nuts. I'm not 100% sure that was the cause, of my problems, but it sure seems like it. I discussed this issue in greater detail in the rebooting thread:

Well, I *know* how it's *supposed* to work, and I have mine set at 2 hour updates (small friends list of less than 70 contacts), but while my People list has updated and refreshed, the "Favorites" images have not...

Oh, my bad. Have you tried manually updating it? FWIW, mine have updated properly in the past.

account settings and sync..Sign out of face book then sign back in and they will all update
