looking at the pic on engadget, looks like the battery cover and surrounding bezel is white, if the front of the screen is white, i'm so on it. I was actually going to do a white carbon fiber vinyl wrap around the EVO anyways. I did on my BB Tour last year when i first got it and was complemented by lots of people.

Damn, I like the look of that. I assume that I wouldn't be able to exchange my blackie for that since it would be over 30 days by then. That stinks.

Wait, i wonder if this is a marketing scheme so that comsumers cant see and light leakage on the white version. White light on white shell will be hard to see.

Light leakage is most noticeable in darkness; a white covering will not alleviate or conceal this problem. In addition, the front bezel looks to still be black so I am not sure this is a viable marketing strategy.

However I think that since the EVO is likely the first real threat to the iPhone campaign, it may be an option to "comfort" future iPhone-to-EVO switchers who preferred the white version.

Options... everyone likes options.

Can you imagine how fast that thing will start to look dirty? Especially if it has the same texture as the black one.
