i doubt it would be the wire it would have to be the control inside of the charger thats causing this ill look at the specific charge ratio on both tonight and tell u why this is happeneing

I have this same issue. I noticed early on. I took it to the store and they told me not to use it when it's plugged in.

You guys notice how nice and thick the stock cord is? Are the cords that are causing this issue as thick?

I'm thinking EM interference but I couldn't image such a small amount of EM would cause the screen to not work but EM fields do affect capacity so I guess maybe. But I think I might just grasping at straws

If its not the charger/cable then sounds like u need to visit a repair center. I know mine responds on the car charger and after reading this i jus tried my OEM charger, motorola charger and an off brand one (a/c that u jus plug usb cable into also i used a generic usb cable)...my screen responds to all

I have the same issue with the stock charger. What's weird is that it will work for a little bit, maybe about 10-20 seconds, then it will become unresponsive. When this happens though, the capacitive buttons below still work and if I put the phone to sleep and wake it up, it works again.
