Re: Battery Life After Official Froyo OTA Update on 8/2

My phone will not sleep after the update. I also noticed that the market is not correct, it does not show my downloaded apps. I'm reformatting fresh today, and installing apps one by one.

Re: Battery Life After Official Froyo OTA Update on 8/2

I pointed it out in another thread but the issue for me was the switch pro widget. As soon as I deleted it my phone went to sleep.

Re: Battery Life After Official Froyo OTA Update on 8/2

Downloaded installed Froyo around 1am and battery life is a beast when phones idle, it now 2pm and I have over 80% battery. I'm pretty sure rooted Roms will have even better battery tweaks.

Re: Battery Life After Official Froyo OTA Update on 8/2

I found that the standard battery best practices needed to be followed again. For instance, Google Talk needed to have auto sign in turned off again.

=D> Bravo

On a similar note I use my phone for about 8 hours straight daily, calls, text (I do roughly 30k a month), e-mails, browsing the net and I still have about 40% of my battery left when I get home from work. Battery life is good.

Re: Battery Life After Official Froyo OTA Update on 8/2

Great Find. I was pulling my hair out with the dual up time and awake time. While LED Light works ok with 2.2 functionally, I happened to uninstall it because of the built in Flashlight, and wham, my Up Time and awake time are now working right.
