I make thousands of dollars worth of deals over the phone each day. It would be a neat feature and I am positive phones other than the 755p have done it. I think TheBundo is a big advocate of this feature too. I don't think it is firmware locked so that it cannot be done. I am not a programmer though, so... Anyway odd thing to take on a vengeance with a phone for, do you rate every other phone that doesn't have this option negatively?

No I do written contracts as well but written contracts only win in courts and do not win your customers trust back. When they hear their own voice confirming the agreement the issue is resolved more gracefully, and again it has many other advantages.

One of the best is how quickly I am able to take a new customers information while I’m say out on the lake for the day. Who is going to bring their laptop wakeboarding? I can get everything I need then enter it in later that day. If you worked for yourself you would understand how small tools like that can really make a difference in customer service as well as your bottom line.

And again what 4 times now? (I would not want you handling my big written contracts when you can't even read this thread thoroughly) the phone is preventing this from being developed.

Re: Sick of this BS

If other countries allow for voice recording, buy an unlocked phone. You might not get 3G here in the states, but you could do what you want. And if call recording were such a hot issue here in the states, we would see posts like this on all message boards. This would be the first post I've ever seen pleading for this functionality.

There is no such thing as the perfect platform/phone for everyone. In this day and age of everyone trying to get rich quick through the court system, looks like Google/HTC/Samsung/Palm/Sony have erred on the side of caution, at least in the US.

If this phone was advertised as being able to record voice calls, that would be one thing. I would say "let's bash *insert name here* until we get this feature". But no phone manufacturer makes this claim, so we aren't being denied anything that we were promised. But keep fighting the good fight.

I would if I had the time. lol. but that's just the thing without call recording it is useless to me. You all can rate it whatever you want I don't care. Maybe it's a 5 star to you. I am interested in rallying people of my same opinion.

Good points, there were alot of threads about it when companies started removing the feature from new model phones but it has since faded which is why we need to keep the discussion alive. I will have to do some research on the unlocked phones. You are right no promises were made except that the platform was totaly open.

Re: Sick of this BS

what about a recording app that just records anything the microphone picks up. can 2 programs access the microphone at the same time? that may work as a work around

Re: Sick of this BS

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I think the last option should be couldN'T care less. If you could care less that means you do care some and I really don't care at all about in call recording.
