Aye, the Sprint Store in Round Rock. The CSR and tech I talked with both said there was a rather lengthy waiting list for new activations/replacements, and there was virtually no chance I would be able to get a replacement before the initial 30 day (returnable) period is up. My hopes now lie with Radio Shack.

I do hope they can get this resolved... I really want this to work out.

Sprint's flagship phone seems to be taking on a bit of water.

Re: Screen May Be Coming Off

I went to a corporate store today to try to get a new one and spoke to the store manager, he was having the same issues with his EVO. He mentioned Sprint is aware of the situation and is investigating the defect. He just said since they did not have a report in their database on this defect they cannot do nothing about it now. He said just to use it and wait till Sprint comes out with guidance on how to deal with this issue. However, he did instruct an employee to create a trouble ticket for me, which will be in the system once guidance does come out. Keeping a record of my visit in the system. My suggestion is that all who are experiencing this go to a corporate store or notify sprint about the defect. That way you can have a retroactive problem logged in. He did not seemed surprised at all and was very courteous about the defect.

This makes me feel a little better, sounds like we will be able to replace our devices pretty soon. I just hope it can be done in time, I don't particularly want a refurbed device. But at the same time I also don't want one that is easily susceptible to things such as dust getting under the screen.

Re: Screen May Be Coming Off

I am sure some of these lifting issues are legit, but I am wondering how many of the "ME TOOs" are just paranoia. Is it possible that some of you are confusing your invisishield / ghost armor as raised screen? I know that if someone didn't know i had ghost armor on my phone, they might think it was a slightly raised screen.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was happening. My Evo however is definitely suffering from it, hence this entire thread. It hasn't raised enough though where i'm too concerned about it.

Re: Screen May Be Coming Off

My screen come up and I can see all four light from under it I push hard and it goes down and I can kinda almost see one light. I've been told to keep watching the Sprint.com site and if I'm lucky and I see they have one to call and then maybe they can send me a working phone. Gotta love Order Support in the Philippines!

Re: Screen May Be Coming Off

Yep we can't do anything because we don't have more phones. Ok then call me when you do. Naw we can't do that either but you can keep checking the Sprint website and hope you check when we have some and then call in time and then we would love to get a replacement for the defective phone we sent you. The forum rules prevent me from expressing my true frustration with this response.

Edit: And no one but Order Support can help me.
