thats the sprint silicon case, pretty much OEM. ive dropped min on thin COARSE carpet, at work, (about 2 feet) and it was unscathed, it actually bounced 2x which i know is thx 2 the rubber ends on the case.

I knocked mine off my computer desk, about 3 feet on to tile. Top left corner over the HTC now has a slight edgy feel to it when you pass a finger over it. Nothing else, and certainly nothing visible to the eye happened to the device.

Great comments..I have to say everyone is different when it comes to what they wear, and how they carry their phone. No everyone is the same...my main point to get across was that there is proof of cracked screens from pockets....not that it will happen to you. There are countless possibilities of how a screen can break...or crack...and that is one that unfortunatly has a higher damage rate. No phone is ever perfect...but having some sort of protection may help in the long run....even if it adds a little bulk...atleast you know if it drops the $20 accessory that you purchased is easier and less pain staking that replacing the phone.

Ask yourself this question, and it may not apply to everyone..

If you of age, would you have sex with or without a condom? Chances are you better off with a condom (protection) that you are without...same applies to phones in a sense...make any sense?

no...im worried about my phone getting knocked up....

Asurion called, said my claim is approved. $100 deductible, and I also had one of the supervisors note that I am requresting a new phone. I was given a 5-7 day span to when I receive the phone.
