Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

Gonna have to go with DL on this one... never turn the screen on, disable the radio, hell just turn off the phone... and YOU TOO can have 40hrs of battery!

Dude, you can call it what you will, but based on the information I posted above, I'm telling you that I'm consistently getting the same results based on my usage... 40 hours? No f-in way, but most definitely 15+ with reasonable use. Of course, if you are a hardcore user, you'll still want a hardcore battery!

and that makes perfect sense. it's the 40+ hours that i was giving the official "DL Shananegans" to.

bro just rooted my EVO last night and i must say it is a hell of a difference, so much more freedom, i feel like i have stepped into the matrix, and after you do it, it makes so much sense, its really easy as long as you follow exact directions, afterwards the process becomes second nature, especially if you are use to flashing in any other platform, try it out bro.

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

I'm bringing back this post cause (1) was best battery life i had. (2) for Rooted phones cant go wrong.
On the other hand... I have no idea what happened to my evo it broke this app and every time i try to use it it goes in to SU Request. I'm guessing this is Super User mode. But it stays in this black screen and eventually makes me force close the app. Any suggestions ?

I was having that issue before as well, have you tried enabling USB Debugging? That fixed it for me.

To active USB debugging you go to menu > settings > applications > development > then make sure you check USB debugging
