Sounds like your lcd is disconnected.. bummer.. least you can bring it back and get it replaced.

I held the phone up to the light and i can see the screen... it looks like the brightness has been turned way down... i did... menu settings sounds and screen i enabled auto screen brigtness this didnt help i turned the brigtness all the way up this didnt help either i tried turning it all the down then back up still no differnce. at least now i know the screen isnt dc.

Just got done watching your video and its definitely a disconnected screen. Take it in tomorrow and it should only take them 10 min at most. These phones are extremely easy to fix these days. All they should have to do is take the back of the phone off and reconnect the screen. The worst scenario is the screen is faulty or the board either way their obligated to fix it. I mean come on its only been 3 days of use and obviously not your fault. Hope this helps

that means its dc? but I can see the screen its just really dim.

I didnt take it, when it stopped working it was 15 mins to closing time so im gonna go tomorrow after work

I'm going to test something out on a phone I already have taken apart cause I have a few ideas about your problem. This is kind of a hobby of mine fixing broken electronics and a learning process as well so I guess you can say I'm learning from your situation.
