Re: ** Update ** 32GB HTC EVO

You could probably almost streamline it in by soldering the leads directly to the SDHC chip and nestle it in there somewhere.

Re: ** Update ** 32GB HTC EVO

If the Android sees a larger card (64GB / 128GB ect) I may consider doing this mod.

Couple of questions,

1. Pin outs on the micro to std SD ar 1 to 1?
2. What did you use for the micro sd adapter? A ribbon cable?
3. Would the Evo see a pair of 32, 64, 128 GB cards? in series or parallel?
4. I am thinking about hiding it all in the bumped out Sedio extended battery door. In my TP2 an TP1 the doors have enought spare spave to hold atleast 1 card (straight wired.

Thoughts, Comments?

Robert

Re: ** Update ** 32GB HTC EVO

I understand the card wouldnt fit with the regular HTC battery cover but why did you cut the sedio cover. It seems like the hard should have sat under the sedio cover no problem.

Re: ** Update ** 32GB HTC EVO

Probably cut it for the easy access to the card? Only thing I can think of, I've got the same body glove cover and adapter is on the way, will be using it under the body glove case Thanks op

There's a sd/microsd converter out - search dealtime for it, they're $5 shipped.

Re: ** Update 06/18/10 ** 32GB HTC EVO

I'm surprised with the move bigger phones and higher demands for storage that hardware makers haven't adopted regular sized sd cards as a form of storage.
