Re: evo randomly rebooting

Same issue here too whenever I try to use something that uses gps it reboots. I had removed Fring and it was all fine again. But now its doing it again since installing Google Goggles. I am uninstalling and restarting to see if that helps.

Edit: Removing Goggles didn't help.

damn i had this same problem. at first i thought it was my setting in the task killer, but that wasn't it even after i removed it. then i found out it was anything that was accessing gps would restart it. the only way i was able to fix this was to flash or hard reset.

man, i love the evo but it has some strange quirks.

When u had your nexus did u ever have any problems with the browser like this: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=124616
Trying to see if its an android issue or android with htc sense issue. Or maybe im causing it somehow with an app...

if you're going to use the task killer go to settings, and change security level to low. go back to task killer and you will see something that says htc launcher or something like that. make sure you add that launcher program to the ignore list. after that is ignored change the security level back to medium or low. you may have to exit out of task killer before the security settings take effect.
