Re: evo randomly rebooting

not rooted, no atk, but rebooted numerous times last few days..

it seems... map and/or navigation is the problem.

you could be right or on the right track... the last time i saw it reboot in front of me... i noticed the gps icon turned on in the notification bar and then it reboot. either maps or something else that's trying to use the gps maybe? anyway, what led you to the maps conclusion?

a soft reset has fixed the problem for me i think (at least the awake time is not the same as up time anymore)... it was ridiculously... never seen so many auto reboots in such a short span in my life. i hope it's a retarded third party app and not something native to android... :/

Re: evo randomly rebooting

Same issue here too whenever I try to use something that uses gps it reboots. I had removed Fring and it was all fine again. But now its doing it again since installing Google Goggles. I am uninstalling and restarting to see if that helps.

Edit: Removing Goggles didn't help.

damn i had this same problem. at first i thought it was my setting in the task killer, but that wasn't it even after i removed it. then i found out it was anything that was accessing gps would restart it. the only way i was able to fix this was to flash or hard reset.
