evo randomly rebooting

My phone randomly rebooted last night while I was sleeping, which the boot up noise woke me up.
This morning on my way to work it also rebooted.

anyone know what could be causing this?
-I have not rooted the phone
-I do not constantly run any program

if not no biggie... just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

I've had the same problem while trying to run a program. I'm not sure why it happens yet though.

Yeah, Im guessing a program conflict. For the two of you using a task killer, uninstall it and see if it happens again. Also check out the thread about why task killers arent necessary with android.

ya, that's what I'm going to do.
I run the task killer because the apps drain the battery... and the apps start in the background for NO reason.
atk won't harm the phone/os

No it may not harm the phone but if it is killing apps that are required for the OS to run then you may run into these random reboots. Android OS already has a task killer. If you want to really save battery, turn off syncing and just check things manually. It will help alot.
