Re: evo randomly rebooting
I have a stone stock evo... Picked it up prior to my flight to the coast. I tried to open Google maps while lost in LA and it rebooted. Ever time I opend google maps or Sprint Nav it rebooted.
Sprint reflashed ?!?! my phone and reloaded everything and it works fine now.. Apperently it is a software glitch. |

Same with me. Once I rooted it, it started randomly rebooting as well!

Re: evo randomly rebooting
Anyone using the Exchange app? I heard that causes the phone to reboot...also any apps you may have installed may cause the reboots....try removing each one at a time and see if that helps.

Re: evo randomly rebooting
I am using the Exchange app, and advanced task killer. (I had the reboot problem for a while, but has since mysteriously stopped!) Althought I am pretty sure that the reboot issue was related to advanced task killer, and not the exchange connector.

Re: evo randomly rebooting
This is a known issue if you downloaded Mobile Defense, the app that locks the phone if lost (where you can test or email an account and it would lock your phone).
The website and forums for the Mobile Defense company knows about this and said it is going to be fixed with Froyo 2.2 release on the EVO. |
