Same rules apply @ Best Buy that they do at Sprint...you get 30 days to use the phone and if you don't like it then bring it back...one problem though, you must bring it back in the same shape you left with. I cannot see Best Buy allowing you to return it in any way. They will look over the phone for sure and it's not like you are gonna have some idiot kid who doesn't care at the customer service desk...It's gonna be a BB mobile guy and I am sure that he/she will look it over....Go on the Hero forum and ask anyone that had to return their phone for one of the many issues upon release and I bet they all say that the store looked it over to make sure there was no damage....Best of luck to you but I don't see how or why Best Buy will/should be responsible because someone else is gonna end up buying that phone and why should they be stuck with a scuffed up phone?

dude, that reminds me of when the Chevy Impala SS's that came out in '94; a dealership nearby had just got these in, a guy and a salesman jumped in one for a test drive, when the guy turned out onto the highway, he got hit by a car and totaled it.

Sucks that you damaged it, but impressive that the only damage it sustained was cosmetic. HTC appears to build pretty solid devices though. I dropped my old HTC Touch from a 2nd story onto a concrete floor at my old job and when it hit the floor the battery cover popped off and the battery flew out. I thought for sure it was done. I went downstairs, put the battery back in and turned it on and it fired right up. It never missed a beat. Go HTC!

I guess now you'll either have to fork over the $100 deductible or live with the damage. Oh, and don't forget to kick your friend in the ballsack if he doesn't cover the cost.

If you got btp on it bb should be able to replace it provided that the damage is more than cosmetic

My friend handed my daughter his iphone a few weeks ago at his house. She dropped it face down on the kitchen tile , screen Shattered! This was the day before his wedding.
