That sounds like my typical day of usage. Very promising. Can I ask what % your Android System is at? My friend isn't getting very good battery life (8-9 hours) and his seems to be stuck at 60% no matter what.

Sorry I didn't look before my phone died.. I was browsing on this forum and it just powered down on me before I could take down the battery stats but the last time I checked earlier in this thread my Android System was only at 8%

Re: battery = horrible less than 4 hours standby

My battery isn't too bad. I get whole day almost. I'm on it a lot but when I'm not, I turn off the internet and gps. therefore, I am on 1x until I need otherwise. My house has horrible reception so this has helped me a lot. I have a lot of apps that auto update but this stops it and they all update when I turn the radio back on. In settings, I also have the cell based location finder turned off. This uses more battery then gps. On my main screen I have the switches for gps, internet, WiFi and 4g to keep things easy.

Has anyone tested the new siedio inocell 1750mah battery yet? Looks promising after reading the review for the incredible on Android police. To summarize, with heavy use, it went from 6hrs to 8hrs. Please message me if you come up with anything. Everyone enjoy the badass phone.

Re: battery = horrible less than 4 hours standby

So, i tend to get about 4 hours of battery life... when im constantly on the net

Gps, bt, wifi, and 4g all turned off and constant web browsing. This is more than good enuf seeing as 4 hours browsing the net on a phone is super slacker

Why start the test overnight? I see how understanding how much true idle time consumes (by checking it first thing in the morning), but I don't think it is helpful to include those sleeping hours in endurance measures. Some may see your ~15 hour uptime and think they'll be able to make it from 8am to 11pm.

It remains difficult to provide an average time at this point, but I am getting between 6 and 10 hours so far (after making several of the recommended tweaks). It has been doing well today, I am on 7 hours so far, battery looks to be around 35%. On weekends, I don't receive the typical ~50 emails, but other than that I've used as normal - even had some 4G browsing.

I'm not super happy with the battery life, but having an extra battery eliminates any inconvenience that it causes.

Yea I know... I am going to test on my first work day with the phone tomorrow to get a real idea of how it works and will do everything I normally did with my TP2.. And see how the battery holds up

Make sure u turn off the 4g antenna and in ur settings disable "always on mobile network data connection"
This will stop u phone from away being connected to the internet but the phone will still connect when a program needs it ( it will just take a few seconds longer to hit the web)!
