Text Messaging on EVO

anyone know why I can't find "handcent sms" through the app market??
all it comes up with is "handcent keyboard" and a few font packages.

I'm getting the same thing, Market does not display the handcsent app, just the keyboard and such. Anyone know of a solution to this??

I researched it and it's something to do with google android phones (which the evo is one).
I found version 3.0 apk file! the current version is 3.0.3, but I can't find it.

steps:
1. download file (below)
2. transfer the file to your evo storage card (with usb cable)
3. download "apps installer" from market (the program icon looks like this: )
4. open apps installer and it will automatically read your storage card and have handcent 3.0 right there!
5. click it to install and that's it!!

IT WORKS GREAT!!

I downloaded and installed version 2.9 but the contact pictures wouldn't show up and it kept saying the messages were failing when I sent them even though they were sending.
version 3.0 is a HUGE update!! both of those issues were fixed and it seems to run smoother
