Where is the extra $75 credit coming from? My math IF there were to be a pricematch, $449-$75=$374 +tax. I may be wrong but at that price BB could be losing money on this item as they would not get the credit from Sprint for the FULL 2 year upgrade/new line of service.
It don't make sense to me neither but BB will give $150 total for partial credit customers assuming they sell it at $599 they will make money.
They got another thing coming when people ask them to price match sprint plus that $150 off.

I appreciate the info and that makes RS only $50 more if I can get the guy to run the discount. I think I will call them and ask.

I totally agree with this especially with WP7 on the way. WP will be a lot more money because you have to pay MS. I am a Sprint Premiere costumer tho so I will be able to get another 150 off in a year. So I might as well use the 75 now. I used the previous 150 on the wife's phone about 3 months ago.

Anyone end up upgrading with only a $75 discount? If so, how much did your phone cost assuming you bought it from sprint? Are you eligible for mail in rebate?

Re: Only $75 upgrade eligible. Mail in/Instant rebate

I posted this on the carrier discussion, but I only had the $75 upgrade- full upgrade in December. I went thru BB @ 1800bestbuy, got the phone for $199 w/2 yr contract. Spoke to sprint to ? why they did not allow me to upgrade @ 199, they stated that BB should not have allowed the upgrade, but they did -- received the phone on the 9th. I order it on the 4th when the system was wonky maybe that was the reason BB gave me the full upgrade price?????
