In Froyo, you can either click an update all button, or you can selectively enable apps to automatically update themselves so long as no permissions are changed. So now, instead of 10 updates waiting, I can wake up with all my apps up to date, all the time.

Great news. I'm NOT a fan of HTC bloatware interfaces. I have yet to see an interface they have designed that I'm willing to sacrifice speed and stability for.
