Re: Defect in Included MicroSD Card

So will the adjustments be pushed to the Google I/O devices? I've noticed a few little glitchy hangups here and there where the phone seems to slightly lag but its only occasional... The Market seems to take a while to load sometimes too, much longer than it should; that could have to do with the fact that the phone hasn't been officially released tho. I've seen that the battery charges REALLY slow at least in comparison to the Hero. I loved how fast the Hero charged it made it easy to leach power here and there through out the day from random friends chargers if necessary lol

Is Android like WinMo or my TP where the voltage for charging is different based upon if its plugged into a USB vs wall outlet?

man the sd has crapped out on me twice in last 20 minutes. Battery pull solves it, unacceptable, but atleast the phone starts up fast lol

This seems like a MAJOR problem and a big time concern now.

Have you not read up on the posts? Sprint/HTC already know about the "software" based issue, and it was said to only be the handsets they gave out at Google I/O...

Up until the day the phone is set out to stores these phones are getting tweaked and updated....what we saw early one wasn't even a full blowing working Evo 4G, Google IO phones were probably towards the latter part of the software, sorta like Release Canidate....So I'm not suprised little things are popping up...atleast they are being addressed before launch..

I saw one post by someone on another forum that said they called sprint (who is to say if what they are saying is the truth?). Unless i actually see something put out by google, HTC or sprint I will say that this is still a concern.

Re: Defect in Included MicroSD Card

Looking at some of the comments on the article, it looks like other HTC Android-based phones are having similar issues. They mentioned the Hero and the Desire. Looks like it could be a glitch in the SD driver related to the class of the card as some had the issue w/ multiple cards while others switched to a different class card and the issue went away... Hopefully they will have a handle on this, even if it's an OTA update that gets pulled down as soon as the phone is activated.

It has already been fixed by HTC and Sprint. Read a few posts ahead of yours.
