Defect in Included MicroSD Card

Hey guys...any one with an evo that can affirm this?

http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/05...-microsd-card/

Any suggestions on how they would fix this if everyone encounters this?

Yes. I've been having that problem. I switched to a Class 4 SD card (the one that came with the phone was a Class 2) and haven't had the problem since.

I contacted sprint about this problem tonight, they told me they knew about it already. Sprint said the only phones that have this problem are the ones that google gave to their employees and to the reviewers. It was a software issue, apparently the issue w...as only with the first 2,000 phones google gave out. With the phones being released on June 4th, the software issue is resolved. I am switching form the Crap pre to the HTC Evo 4G, and I am glad to now be a part of Android Forums. Thanks guys and have a good night."

It says on the card. Should be a 2 or a 4 inside a C on the front of the card.

Thanks. I just saw this right after I posted my last reply. Only time will tell whether this is true or not. Hopefully Sprint pushes an update to the first batch of phones sooner rather than later. For now, it looks like my class 4 card is holding up without any glitches.
