Seeing what Android can do, makes me upset i have to even try to sell my TP2 running WinMo6.5

Im going to sell it on Ebay for 150 bucks, with an extra battery, 2 extra chargers, and its in mint condition. I just want to be rid of such a weak device in comparison. I have my appt to pick up my Evo at 8am from Best Buy on the 4th and it will be the last day I ever have to deal with WinMo ever again! lol

don't sell all your batteries, the evo uses the same battery as the tp2

My sister in law works for Tmobile and she said there have been so many returns on the HD2. The screen, processor and all that are great but running WM kills it.

My last WM phone was the Touch Pro when it first came out. Only kept it for 2 months. Ive had Blackberry or android ever since and I'll never go back.

as many of you have i have been a winmo fan for a while. tp1, tp2, imagio, hd2. like stated the hd2 is a solid piece of hardware but after the novelty wears off its still the same winmo just a bit quicker. while speed (or lack thereof) was an issue for winmo its not the only issue. can you make a ford focus fast and shiny, sure you can but in the end its still a crappy economy car, same principle. kudos to m$ for trying starting fresh with wp7 but android is the shiznit!

I'd still go with the Evo. I've been playing around with WM since the PPC6700 (HTC Apache, if I remember right). While I've never had any real problems with it, I've never been blown away by it either. Really looking forward to playing around with android.

I am working remotely from our new office in Memphis, so I will admit that I didn't read one single post above, beyond the OP. That said, I am confident that I can say this:

As just about everyone else has stated, Android is just a faster, smoother, more customizable and more stable OS than WinMo. So I voted for the EVO, because I like where Android is going (bigger and better) and don't like where WinMo is heading (can you say iPhone wannabe?).

I agree with that but I dont think WM will ever make it that far...lol

HD2. The official support may lack, but cooks and devs always come up with nice things.

Plus, you know Windows 7 will eventually make it on the HD2

I'd be tempted to go with the HD2. Only because Sprint would probably allow me to keep my ultra cheap retention plan.
