Re: EVO 4G Review from Slashgear

I'm curious to see what codec the device will use to play back 720p video as the review mentions that it doesn't support DivX or H.264
anyone know?

From the jist I got from the Manager the battery life is about the same as the Touch Pro 2, 1500mAH is what the Evo 4G has...same as the TP2...but he did say that when you are using 4G it will eat the battery a lot faster...just like it would if you had the Wi-Fi on. But I knew this going into wanting the phone. Best bet is to spend $30 on a 2nd battery and keep it charged...that's what I plan on doing.

If people feel thats a negitive, well you have issues....the phone does a lot, and that's something you can expect right out of the box...

Battery on 4g should still be quite a bit better than just running wifi. It will use more juice than when in 3g but defintely not as much as running wifi.

Re: My EVO review...hmmm

Finally. This review wasn't extremely informative or anything, but you mentioned one thing that no one else decided to mention in any review: The 8GB card being class 2. Thanks for clarifying. I'll keep my class 4 I guess.

I figured it would be a class2, I mean come on nothing comes with the phone, nothing. So the one thing that it came with I already knew they would skimp out on it.

WORST Evo 4G review on the internet.

EDIT: This video was taken down as the user's account was removed from YouTube. Probably because he was an idiot.

Lol, this is the most pathetic "review" I've ever seen in my life.

I like the part where he displays his friend's phone numbers on the internet.
