Does anyone know if you are able to Bill the purchase of your EVO to your Sprint account at radio shack?

no, we buy our hardware directly from the manufacturers (not sure if that necessarily has anything to do with it or not and i don't know other companies' arrangements)and our system isn't set up to bill phones to accounts, don't know if that's radioshack's choice or sprint's either way we can't do it. basically the activation system we get to use does just activations, plan changes, and esn swaps, really basic unfortunately

No, they can't do that. I already asked them that, and since their not a Sprint store, they can NOT. Their only a Sprint provider.

Does the shack have the same return policy as Sprint. Just incase I decided not to keep the phone. I'm sure I'll be stuck with the $50 gift cert but what about the rest of the $150?

if you don't like the phone, I do have a laptop that I am willing to trade for and evo. look in bargain trader. Think, a laptop for 150? A duel core laptop...

Are all the Mods playing with EVOs or sleep or something. I have see a bunch of pre-order threads pop up everyday since the weekend started and not be moved.

yes generally once money is on a gift card it doesn't go anywhere but back to the giftcard. if you wanted to return the phone you have 30 days (same 30 day contract lock policy sprint has) to bring the phone (in "new, resellable condition") all packaging and accessores into the store and obtain an exchange for another phone (with or without partial refund) or for a full refund of purchase price to the original method in which is was paid, i.e. $50 to the giftcard and $150 + tax back in cash or credit (debit transactions default to a cash refund). also, since you receive a $20 credit towards accessories for the phone it will likely be expected that you return said accessory or pay the $20

or sell it to someone on here, whatever floats your boat

Thanks for clarifying. I'm on an old $40 plan right now with 1000 minutes, unlimited data and text so I'm a bit on the fence about keeping it. But I'm hoping I won't want to return it after I get it.
