this is definitely qik's fault as it is an app that doesn't come from sprint. Sprint should not be commenting on this at all as they have no input to whats going on.

Re: Qik Not Ready???
I know Qik is an app. But during the Evo 4G party, I remember a person asking about the video conferencing feature and the Sprint representative said that the Qik app will have Evo specific features.
So I assumed Sprint and Qik would be working side by side on the "Evo specific features." So I'm just confused. If its something that you can download from the Market, then I'll take it. I thought it was something that was going to come pre-loaded. I'm just surprised its not done yet. |

Re: Qik Not Ready???
Sprint is a Telecommunication company...Cell phone service company, BrightHouse is what you consider an ISP, but that not the topic at hand. It true that if a product is not functioning properly you contact the developer...but clearly it is, as the video proves otherwise!

I have seen some demos for it. But even in that video, the guy asked if it is "available for public access" and the rep said soon. So I'm still assuming its not completely done. And the reviewers so far have all said that it is not yet available. I just want it to be done in time for the launch so I can flaunt the hell out of it to some Apple guys. lol Last edited by champ052005; 05-20-2010 at 05:56 PM. |
