Re: winmo users who are switching to evo . . .

The love for Windows Mobile has come and gone, it's a dying breed...and I really don't think Windows Mobile 7 is going to make it come back anytime soon. In the time I've had my Windows Mobile devices I have noticed a huge decline in support, apps and all around praise for the OS...Since the release of Android everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and moved. I am also tired of the lack luster performance of Windows Mobile. It's slow, unresponsive, and clunky.

Android has alot to offer in terms of usability...and expansion. Almost on a daily basis the Android Market grows and that shows me that people are intrested, happy and willing to expand, unlike WM. I'll tell you right now I won't miss any applications WM offers.

The upgrade to the Evo 4G couldn't come any sooner for me...The pure ability to have fun apps, and knowing something I'm looking for will probably be avaible in the market excites me to no end....WM doesn't have any real app store...even if they did it would be crapware. For instance, Facebook on WM looks like a 10 year old made it in 10min, now on Android whomever made the Offical Facebook app spent time and made it a sleek, good looking app.

I think overall WM had it's day, but those days ran out years ago. Time to move on, join the new era of phone exellence.
