Ok, so I'm trying to understand what happened. You were out of contract (or in contract and your lines were expiring soon) so you signed another two years for $70 each? Well if that was the case, then you can still be in contract and still have the upgrade eligibility like I do. So my question is, when did you buy the TP2s? The reason I am asking is because when Sprint offers you the $70 to re-sign, they don't give you the subsidized price of the phone (if you choose to buy a phone at the time you are accepting that offer). Its an either-or type of deal they offer. EDIT: Nvm, I see what you did. Didn't see the date of the $70 offer until now. Well, you still have the $75 upgrade price. If you have spare gift cards for Best Buy or Radio Shack, that should help. Another way to get gift cards are credit cards. I have points set up on my Chase and Discover credit cards for every dollar I spend on the cards. I usually turn those points into Best Buy gift cards. I usually get around $200-$300 per year out of this. Last edited by champ052005; 05-18-2010 at 05:21 PM. |

if at first you don't succeed ..try try again. that my motto with Sprint. call them, and speak to an advanced tech support rep, or better..their supervisor. try, then try again, and then try some more. But have a valid reason before calling. you're reason being that you're a valued sprint customer, you have a family plan, and willing to renew your contract for an amazing phone. It will happen, just talk to the right person.

Mail in rebates are only valid for 2 year full upgrade eligibility. The $75 off at 1 year is just that, $75 off the full retail price.
https://manage.sprintpcs.com/special...bateWelcome.do **Get $150 off or Sprint’s nationally advertised price on a new device, whichever is better. Nationally advertised price reflects regular price minus all eligible mail-in and instant rebates. The $25 and $75 offers are a savings off regular price. |

What I am going to do is just hold off altogether. I'm satisfied with both my phone (Samsung Moment) and my plan. I'm not going to get this phone to tie myself to another 2 years (already been with Sprint for ![]() My opinion is you should just wait until your eligiable for the full upgrade price. If you're not willing to do that, then sell your TP2s and use that cash plus some out-of-pocket to buy the phones full retail (remember you'll be paying an extra $480 bucks of "use fee" for the two years per your agreement) Just doesn't make financial sense to me
