yes, it has to be tested and tweaked by HTC and then it has to be tested and tweaked by sprint..so 2x the delay.

I have the swype beta keyboard and it works perfect, it will be the final release. You are correct we are lucky this phone is popular we will have many custom roms once this thing is rooted, cyanogen is the man for the nexus, everyone uses his roms. For cdma you guys need to get your sdx logins ready, many roms and much info will be over there. At least it was when I rooted my friends moment.
