My RS called and is opening at 6. And if I come in to get my phone between the hours of 6 and 10 I get an extra 15% off any accessories I buy. Guess I've got a half way decent RS after all.

I am so glad that I don't have to worry about this crap. I was going to camp my Sprint store when I messed up and waited too long to pre-order. I already have tomorrow off work and everything. But, I've already got my Evo so I can start really putting it through it's paces after I get off work tonight.

My RS store manager called me today too and wanted to know when I wanted to pick up my phone, Friday or Saturday. Saturday??? Are you high??? Anyway I dropped by the store and told him I wanted to be there Friday morning as early as possible. They don't open 'til 9 but he said I can come in at 8:30 since he will already be there and pick up my phone.
 Looks like they only had 4 pre-orders on the list he had, so they should have plenty more to sell to anyone else who didn't pre-order. Shouldn't be a problem for most people to find one if they didn't pre-order. I guess it depends on where you live.

I don't do the early thing, just showing up when they open my Sprint store at 8. All it took was a well placed tip today to the manager, who has sold me my last 7 or so phones.
