However, that will not keep people over the next 2 years from spreading false rumors about the Verizon iPhone. Plus who cares even if the iPhone 4 does go to Verizon, the Evo is better hardware and Androird 2.2 will crush iPhone OS 4. The iPhone is old news.

We shall see but with Apple giving ATT the ipad rights and the ETF being increased and then going down through four months starting June points to something...We shall see

Well, unfortunately, I missed the pre-orders. Got paid today and went by my local RS (both of 'em) and was told by both that they stopped pre-orders yesterday because they "ran out of pre-orders" but that they should be getting additional ones for their separate in-store stock. I'm guessing BBY will be doing the same thing. Since I work nights, I'll already be up bright and early when my BBY opens @ 9am so I'll be waiting at the door... and if they somehow manage to run out before I get one, my RS opens at 9:30am

Woohoo!

Been a great day. Sprint fixed my eligibility issue my account had and I am ready to go. The manager at the local radio shack says I WILL have a phone on Launch day. He took my name and number and even though I did not pre-order feels confident that he will have one for me if I want it.

This phone better be worth all the hassle and the extra 10 bucks a month!

FYI, best buy is still taking preorders guaranteed on the 9th. as a backup for you all, it would be a good idea to preorder one anyway. That way if you can't get one on launch day, you still have a plan B (or plan c). If you do get one, you don't have to pick up the phone and you can use the $50 for something for your EVO @ Best Buy.
