for you yes that would be the way to go it just makes sense, but for us normal people..lol......that is just way to much $$$$ for a hotspot feature that some people might just use once or twice a month..etc. in due time i am pretty sure someone will come up with a hack like always.

Yes, the hack is called rooting your phone. Once the evo is rooted, wifi tethering access will be free for all.

So we are looking at $39.99 a month for 4g plus hot spot or I can go with Clear and pay the same price and not use up the battery on my mobile phone and I can go month to month and not commit two years. THINK ABOUT IT DAN. Maybe I wouldn't mind the $10 extra if it covered all devices on my plan and free 4g was never announced. To think Verizon doesn't charge it's Palm Pre Plus users extra for their hot spot service.

hey guys, i asked this ? on another post but never got a response and sorry if it has been answered already...i'm on a family plan and was just wondering if the $10 a month extra is just for the evo line or $10 additional for every line on the acct?

Each EVO on the account will require the 10/month add-on fee.

just called sprint.. they said if 4g isnt in your market then your not forced into the $10/monthly thing...

also guys, come on now... has anyone here on sprint ever paid to tether or to connect devices, i sure havent.... and theres gonna be an easy reg edit im sure to enable 4g services im sure...

not paying for things is what were good at, dont sweat it folks
