it shouldnt expire sense its not beta..
what did it say when you tried to install did you uninstall the other one?
if that doesnt work try copying it to system/apps with explorer

Yes sir, I did uninstall the other one. At first I did not. I got an Application not installed. So then I went ahead and Uninstalled the one that was already there. Tried to install the apk you provided for me, Thank you again and still did not work. I aslo rebooted the phone and tried again. I got the same result.

Now I went ahead and tried to copy it to system/apps with explorer as you suggested and got ( Swype.apk copy failed ) I don't know. But I am most definitely open to all suggestions.

gotta turn on read/write

at the top youll see mounted as r/o
switch it to r/w
then after you copy reboot

Ok.... Did as you said. Got it to copy rebooted and now I get a Force Close. I feel like where getting there...

EDIT: Ok ok.... So I decided to try a few different ways. The one that worked for me was. I found another working swype version and installed that. Went ahead followed your steps again this time with my working version still installed. That seems to do the trick. Everything is as it should be so far. Once again I thank you for your time..
