Re: Anyone else having issues with the 32gig card from Verizon?

Got mine from Verizon two days ago. I think it's defective. When I tried to put it in my phone it recognized it and said do you want to format it. I kept hitting the format option, but nothing happened. I tried plugging the cardreader in my pc. Again it recognized it, but when I tried to format it wouldn't work. As I was taking it out, it burned my hand because it was so hot. By that time it was late, and I was going to bed. I put the card back in the phone and charged it all night. I woke up to the back of my phone feeling really hot, and the battery was at 65%.

Re: Anyone else having issues with the 32gig card from Verizon?

Now, it is noticeably slower than the Panasonic 16gb Class 2 that I got on a recent deal posted on these forums, which was on par with the 8gb Class 2 that came with the phone.

Essentially accessing the same data as the previous cards, which is only about 4.3gb worth.

I noticed it in first time directory reads through Astro and ES File managers. As well as searching for new music, images/ videos..

It also took longer to restore the data backed up from the 8 and 16 to the new 32 from the PC to the phone.

Well, I'm not saying I missed the humor too, but I'm glad I saw your f/u post, as I was just about to soak my card in a cup of Shout before I put it in the washer..... whew!

I ran a speedtest program on it, and it classified it as a class 4.

The whole point of idiotic posts like this one are just that, too many "high and mighty" individuals thinking they need to make fun of those they consider inferior.

Good for you. Hope it makes your ego that much better for yourself.

It just ensures that everything works well and we don't have a reaction (errors) to the chemicals (non formatted card).

When we wear the shirt regularly it may get dirty, covered in hooker sweat (too many files), stripper glitter (oh crap), or horndoctor blood (corrupt files again). While the shirt might be dirty we can wash (format) it. This should remove those stains and smells and it will be clean, meaning no stains (errors).

Haha. I just do it because when I do it works better.
I'm so confused!!! Should I use a stain removing detergent or one that makes my data April fresh?
