Basically the script I am using is very closely related to this one: [TOOL 07/11] Easy Fre3vo w/ Perma-Temp, Bloatware Disabler & Overclock (Win/Mac/Lin) - xda-developers . He has instructions for Mac. He doesn't include the tether app but you can always download it form the market after you get rooted. Good luck |

My wmwifirouter software work with the wifi on my laptop, but my wife's phone Optimus T does not see any wifi siginal put out by this TP2 phone.
So now I hope to start a new chapter on the 3D and that the wifi would work on any device, not just laptop. I wonder anything to do with ad hoc wifi vs other types of wifi? |

fyi---the latest version of Wifi Tether works when u set the device-profile to HTC Evo 4G. also enable the routing-fix. you'll still get an error about the kernel when u first launch the app, but it does work.
Wifi Tether is much better than barnacle (IMO) since it supports Infrastructure mode.

Nevermind OMJ. I googled it and found the answer. In order to get it to work I had to check MSS Clamping as well. No idea what that does. Got that tip from some dude at sdx developers. Thx bro!
