How do we know it is a software issue that could be fixed with an update? What if it is hardware and it will stay this way?
I hate 2 be a downer.. 1) Weak speaker 2) bad connectivity 3) boot loader still locked I might have 2 send it back. Last edited by robysch22; 06-30-2011 at 12:15 AM.

Hi, I'm having the same exact issues. Signal strength is awful and speaker sound is weak. Can anyone help with this?

I'm having the same issue as well no bars, and I'm always roaming no. Plus internet is so slow. Called Sprint and told them I'm always roaming now. To shut me up they sent me Airave now I have full signal and 2.8mb download on 3g. No need to turn WiFi on at home.

Im having the same issues it roams back in fourth at my home and Im in a strong sprint coverage area this hasnt been an issue on any of my previous phones including the original evo. I have had people text me saying they have attempted to call me a couple of times but it never rang on my end. im usually always in a good sprint area so this is mildly annoying and hope a fix is coming soon.. emailed sprint and htc just so it could be documented and hopefully create some noise on their ends

Ok guys, so any of you who claim not to have any signal issues, did you do this here by any chance?
[How To] Retrieve MSL and speed up internet faster - xda-developers ???? Or/and would this help with this issue?????

Yep novelty has wore off and now I want my EVO 4G back, Dropped calls and little to NO service in areas that i use tto watch TV on my EVO. What the hell HTC!!!
