Re: Post your battery life on the EVO 3D here

Hoppefully by now you have had a chance to discharge and charge your phone at least 3 to 5 times to break in the battery. The key is to NOT let your new battery drain past 20 to 25 percent during the break in period and after that, ensure you rarely if at all let the phone drain down to the point where it shuts itself off.

You can find some very helpful battery preservation information such as turning off the automatically sign in for Google Talk, and I also recommen using the Brightness Widget from HTC to allow you to manually set it low which I think is around 25 to 30% to Mediuma and then to high, at the press of a button. Auto Brightness uses more battery because the screen brightness is constantly changing based on the environment your in.

If you look under settings then about phone and then Battery, yuou will see your uptime and awake time. If your awake time is anywhere close to your uptime after leaving the screen off for a couple of hours to overnight, then you have some program that is constantly running.
I have noticed that if you have the phone plugged in and charging and you do a reboot, that the awake time matches the Up Time because the phone is awake during charging, so my above recommendation assumes that you do not have the phone on and charging overnight.

Haven't touched a setting yet.. ****JUST HOW I GOT IT FROM the sprint store**** battery is terrible , unplugged it at 9 am and by 5:30pm is was dead , and that's with almost no use ( super busy at work today).. I was getting better battery performance from TP2. I guess turning off brightness , 4g, gps, etc etc might get a full day battery but whats the use of a smartphone if you need to make it a dumbphone by turning off every feature?
