Hello,

I don't know if these speeds are good or bad, I just thought we might want to start a thread.

Using the speed test app, these are my speeds in Los Angeles

On 3G
Download 262kbps, upload 66kbps, ping 116ms

On 4G
Download 1561kbps, upload 480kbps, ping 116ms

Wow - your 3G speeds are about the same as my 4G speeds and my 3G speeds suck compared to yours. Interesting. Did you tweak any settings to get the download speed so much faster? I have the latest firmware/software/prl.

Hmm - my 3G speed doesn't seem to be on par. I'll be in Tucson tomorrow so I'll see if it is a Los Angeles thing.

I get between 800Kbps - 1,200Kbps on average for 3G. 4G is my area is inconsistent, but bounces around between the range of 3,000Kbps - 6Kbps. I don't use 4G because it sucks battery and reception is too spotty to use it for prolonged periods.

Your 3G data speeds are very low (almost not 3G actually) for an area that gets a 4G signal. Usually those areas are solidly covered as far as 3G goes. Has that been the case since you bought it or did you only test today? Sometimes data can fluctuate from day to day.
