I'm still getting this bad boy EVO 3D! @Jimmiekain; Like you said Verizon prices hands down are the Highest (and outrageous) with a cap internet plan! Go figure we have people that are willing to pay that!

2 states ? I beleive they launched in every city with a football team. I live in miami and the coverage for lte here has a much bigger footprint than wimax

@*king*

Sarcasm....I think that's what it's called! My point was not clear, Sprint Wimax overall cover's more people than Verizon LTE! You may have better coverage in Miami, but Sprint overall footprint cover more people!

Re: Who's buying the EVO 3D????

Like most, I'm not interested in the 3D features at all. A better screen with higher res does interest me. At first I was completely not interested in ditching my 4G for the 3D... I'm on the fence now. I have a couple of months to ponder so.....

I've noticed I'm not itching for new phones like I have in years past either...kinda hit the pinnacle in technology for my needs.

Mind you, a battery that lasts 3 times longer in an EVO like device, with the same physical dimensions, would get my attention quicker than 200% more processing horsepower.

It does cover more people because its been out longer but in the short time verizion launched, in my area at least, the coverage is expanding faster. Has sprint even added any new cities, seems like wimax is coming to a halt

Exactly my point! I run with logic and facts, not opinions...That's why I said when Verizon get's more coverage that cover more people (stress test) and they still get speed's of that nature I will salute them! I not here as a Sprint Fan boy, I could care less...Both companies can kiss it!

Oh yea, and yes they have expanded, but there doing it slow! Why!? to see when Verizon get a lot of people (more coverage) and to see the difference in speed and to make sure that difference is worth the upgrade (software) on the towers. So if I ruffled any feathers because your a loyalist, not my intention! I've been with Sprint a long time my plan is discounted (and unlimited with no cap!) that's why I'm there!!!

Re: Who's buying the EVO 3D????

I'm on the fence too... I've had my EVO a few months now and am a gold member. I will upgrade when my year is up regardless. Not sure if i'm going EVO 3D... But can't wait to see how it preforms.

LTE is not more efficient then wimax...if anything its a tad less efficient..BUT Verizon has 2x the spectrum dedicated to LTE and 700mhz makes it better for penetration and range.
