I seen that on XDA Also I am waiting and holdin out till we get the full RUU or the OTA. I don't wanna burn time up lol. Since it shouldn't be too much longer till ICS drops .. Which will probably come out after the EVO 1 drops..

Yeah I figured they'd wait til after it drops too which sucks! I mean I (kinda) get why they do it but we're not even getting Sense 4 so dropping our update with 3.6 shouldn't be a huge deterrent for people to upgrade. Now if we were getting Sense 4 it'd make alot more sense. I thought the reasoning behind us getting 3.6 was because they wanted to keep a similar ui experience for customers; if it's so similar people will still want the different and supposedly better Sense 4 that will be on new devices.

What happen to the Evo brand and the "Now Network" being 1st? Historically Sprint implied one of the incentives to go Evo was being among the first to get things like updates imo

Hi OMJ,
I would like to take the opportunity to say that your ROM s is one of the most stable and dependable I used/tested.
I had OMJ_EVO_3D_2.3.4_GB_Custom_deodexed_v2.4-signed
installed for the longest time and I thought it is time to try ne new one.
When installing 2.7 It came up to the colored screen and showed a red x on the battery and the cell network.
When installing 2.6 I had the battery % indicator but a red x on cell network.
Version 2.5 installed normal.
Are there any new firmware or anything else that I need to install on versions that are < 2.5?

Did you flash the 2.17 updates?
The newer roms are based on the new 2.17 firmware and radios.

RE: the leaked Virgin Mobile ICS ROM....I would advise NOT to flash the firmware associated w/ the ROM, alot of people having issues. The firmware was really not meant for our phones. Personally, I'm not gonna take any chances...as far as the ROM, I'm gonna hold off a few days to see what pans out. Some are saying it's running fine w/ the 2.17 firmware, but I would think a ICS ROM would need updated firmware. I have the ROM semi-prepared in the kitchen, so we'll what happens in the next few days.

I still have seen a solid rooted base ROM....

Hi and thanks to OMJ & aedon for the fast responses.

It turned out that a combined 2.7 update img did not work correctly.

I had to relock the bootloader, flash a stock rom.

After that I unlocked the bootloader and installed V2.7 without issue.

I am currently testing it but form what I can tell it is another OMJ masterpiece !!!

I probably need to do the same to get rid of the glitches I was having with 2.7. But now I might as well wait because either the ICS ROM will be out soon or I'll have my E4GLTE!
