What is the best method to upgrade to the new version? Full wipe and then flash? I ask because I'm currently on 2.5 and had issues when I tried the last update based off of 2.17 and had to go back to my nandroid. I did a full wipe before so I'm not sure what the problem was.

Used the Super Wipe and flashed. Seems cool so far. Noticeably faster and more snappy. The only thing is the notifications don't want to swipe away they start to but then bounce back. Any suggestions?
Edit: Crap spoke too soon, I've been having a few random reboots now too not sure why,but I definitely don't want to go back after experiencing rights improvements Edit 2: So after reading more I'm wondering if it could be related to my radio. I am still on version CDMA: 0.97.10.0808 looks like with the 2.17 update I should be on CDMA: 1.06.00.1216. At least according to what I saw on xda ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1193101). Should that help with my restart issues? The first one Was mid call... What else could that radio fix? My data speeds have been horrible lately. Edit 3: Radios updated so we'll see I guess.... Last edited by princem131; 04-07-2012 at 06:59 PM. |

Aside from all that wow great improvements! I can't believe how much more snappy and smooth it is. I'm falling in love with my E3D all over again. Thanks for all your work and support! I'm super excited to see what you do with ICS (whenever we get it) Sidebar: having to pull my battery just now, which frequently is the solution to hacking hiccups, really has me concerned. What the hell are we going to do in those situation with the imbedded batteries it seems like the industry is moving towards?! Would I have just been SOL with the E4GLTE? My son has a iPod Touch, there has been a few occasions where I had to power off by just holding down the power button. Not sure if that would work on future phones but I would image there has to be a way. Last edited by OMJ; 04-08-2012 at 10:55 AM. |

Maybe they'll have that little recessed pin hole reset button like old school WinMo phones had. Sent from my PG86100 using PPCGeeks |
