For all you guys with HBOOT 1.5 with S-ON and UNLOCKED, this is what I've done and it worked the first try for flashing. At first, even with a ROM with a stock KERNEL you cannot just flash through the custom recovery because the kernel is included.
I have HBOOT 1.5 S-ON CWM Custom Recovery 4.0.1.4 Flash Image GUI - there is a market and free version available from a thread on xda The saving grace was Flash Image GUI. Basically it indexes your ROM zip for the Kernel package and flashes that first, then reboots immediately into recovery where you flash the ROM zip. Everything installs perfectly and your phone should boot up your new OS first try. I am not sure if this method works for Custom kernels, but assuming its the kernel made specifically for that ROM i dont see an issue. someone can verify this for me if they want. Just my .02 for what worked for me. I am now running OMJS 3.2! Thanks for the hard work!!! |

Ok, so got it to work, thanks OMJ. Just to confirm to others, you need to enable MSS clamping and Routing fix, as well as go into Change Device Profile to Generic ICS.

What (if any) negative effects are there if doing the no wipe mod that you outlined for v 3.2? Will it work for a 3.1 to 3.3 update when your done with it?
Positive Vibrations

Under Settings in WiFi Tether, you don't see MSS Clamping? Not sure about that one...

OMJ or anyone, how can I get my calender to link back with Google Maps? I use my calender for appointments and usually just click the address and it brings me into Google Maps, which I can then use Navigation on if I want. For some reason, it is bringing me to some new Navigation app when I click the address from Calender. And it sucks! It doesn't work. Any help?
