Re: can anyone copy and paste txt from a sms?
Ok -I am only replying bc of this comment. I was interested in finding an answer. I am still using WinMo. But am seriously considering the Incredible. Want to do some studying.

Re: can anyone copy and paste txt from a sms?
The stock text (SMS/MMS) app is very good (especially when compared to WinMo), but handcent and chompsms are more customizable and feature packed. They are both free in the Market and allow for copy/paste and other advanced functions, so there is really no reason not to use one of them.

I'm not to sure about HTC sense but in my stock messaging if I press and hold the text it will copy the whole text message then I can paste that text message and make changes. I get a couple of options one of them is "copy message text "

Re: can anyone copy and paste txt from a sms?
A work around is to forward the text, then you can copy what you want from the message and then discard it, but you will still have what you copied in your clipboard.
