I think that is the case here, if it was that simple I doubt this thread would exist.

No I don't think you can disable sense, its not really an overlay like on winmo, it's built deep into the OS. All in all, I think sense is worth it, and feel it offers many advantages over stock Android, a lot more than it takes away.

One thing that surprises me, is that I cannot find a free screen capture app. I was looking just now to post some screencaps in this thread, but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

I can run the htc desire rom which has htc sense as well but not my cup o soup. screen capture app is free but you have to be rooted. Once youre rooted you can download screen capture apps and wifi router plus sooo much more.

I did not realize root was needed to take screen shots. Oh well, shouldn't be long.
