Re: Mightyrom6 has *ruined* my diamond -- Won't reboot w/out hard reset

i am having similar issues with my girls phone. I have tried many different roms but everytime i load it then soft reset the phone messes up, i mean everytime. I tried flashing the stock rom and she uses it for a day then i try and flash another custom rom and the phone will not keep any custom rom, any other ideas besides flashing a stock rom first, or should i flash the stock rom then instantly flash the custom rom?

Yes. After I made it standard practice to flash shipped (not stock) then immediately flash custom I have had no problems (Except when the custom ROM is hosed).

Make sure you always delete your intenal memory before a flash.

The shipped I currently use is "HTC Touch Diamond MR 2.00.651.7".

Umm... I hope you're not referring to internal storage, because that's not correct... leaving that alone is fine. (Indeed for me it's vital).

One thing that also helps some is to "Clear Storage" after flashing the custom ROM and letting go through its paces. For whatever reason... that seems to help.

MightyROM didn't mess up your phone, you did by not following advice and directions. Quit ranting and flash it right or leave the forum.
