True, but it doesn't help in this case either. Nor does clear settings or reflashing.

So far I still have no clue about the cause of this problem. All I noticed are:

The freeze happens only when the phone is being charged.
Overnight charging is more likely for the freeze to happen.
When frozen, battery could be found either full or empty.
This happened when my phone was using MightyRom 3.9, but when I flashed to the latest Mighty4, still same thing. Tried different radio too.

Now I'm back to Mighty3.9. I cleaned up Today to show nothing and it has not frozen yet for 3 days now.

I guess you didn't see my post. What build of windows was it that you had the issue with?

Mighty3.9 and 4 are WM6.1.

I haven't had the issue since I changed the today screen time out to never under the Today settings.

Same problem with CE OS 5.2.21052 (Build 21052 by Calkulin).

I have had this problem in the past, but it comes and goes as I flash different roms.

Definate problem as I rely on my phone for alarm clock. Nearly missed my tee time yesterday.

Always happens when charging at night. I have to remove the battery to get it going again.

Mine survived its 4th night, since I cleaned up entirely the Today screen. Now I think the cause is indeed Today. When Verizon network is trying to do some update service in the midnight, it conflicts with some of the Today plugins and freezes the phone. The Today items I used were Messaging (Live push) and Date. I never use the TouchFlo crap.

As long as it can last for about a week, it is all fine and I'll stay with MightyRom3.9 forever.

It froze once after I added VOIP stuff. Then I did a hard reset, no more VOIP stuff added and nothing on Today screen. It's been rock solid without any freezing for two weeks now, never possible before.

Few fixes for you.

Install G-Alarm 1.5.1, run it the first time, it will ask you if you want to apply the alarm/freeze fix, say yes.

Second, if you are using psshutxp, I've found that periodically the phone stops responding to the power button, cant bring it out of sleep sucks. Once you eliminate the psshutxp altogether, it stops doing that.
