the verizon diamond vs the alltel diamond?

t-mobile FTW haha i love their customer service! now they have 3g, and are working on 4g. plus their plans are extremely reasonable and they are always having the specials on ridiculous minutes for like 40$ data/ unlimited messaging 35. or sidekick plan like 30... Im planning on switching out of alltel soon if i like the Mytouch 3g with google, or tp2. Alltel annoys me haha... Is there a date on the official transition for alltel to vzw?

Wow there is a lot of heresay and not much proof. First off, each location is going to have a different time to be transferred to Verizon. For example my area is September. Second, what proof is there that the Alltel Diamond won't work on Verizon? Third, (this came from Nexvision who used to work for a Verizon store) the reason there are gimped Diamonds on Verizon is because Qualcomm had a contract with Verizon to use crappier chipsets from before.

lol, i'm just trying to get some first hand info. i'm not sure if i want the phone at all without the diamond-facet back.. i wanna be 100% with the next phone i get.. verizon is too expensive and the phone is apprently junk from them. :\ maybe i should justkeep looking

How would you activate the alltel diamond on verizon? I'm trying to figure out for myself!
