Re: the verizon diamond vs the alltel diamond?
Yeah the Verizon Diamond is awful. However it has removable memory. Of course that doesnt matter if it takes over 9000 years to access the files in it....lol.

Re: the verizon diamond vs the alltel diamond?
that's kind of depressing. it is the only one with the diamond-faceted back, right? i'm so attracted to it, but i know that's not what's important. i guess i should just get the alltel version as quick as possible before it's too late

Re: the verizon diamond vs the alltel diamond?
One. Do not even think about the Verizon Version. It is terrible. It's missing 100 megs of ram, and is extremely slow. It also does not have the internal storage. In addition, you cannot use google maps or any other program with the GPS as it is locked out.
Two. Do not get the Alltel Version. All the people who have the Alltel version (including myself) will find out with in the next week here that the Alltel phone is not compatible with the Verizon network. When you call 611, they will send you out a Verizon phone which (read above) sucks. Today, I noticed I'm not getting texts until about 2 to 3 hours after the other person (my friend) sent it to me. Also, my internet is working about 40% of the time now. It's not a software issue, it's the actual network according to VZW. Those crooks want me to "upgrade" my plan (which costs an additional 40 dollars a month) and they want me to "upgrade" my phone (again, see above.) I'd recommend going to T-Mobile, their HTC Touch 2 comes out really soon... Or switch to Sprint, or dare I say *gulp* AT&T (they have pretty bad coverage in my area.) |

Re: the verizon diamond vs the alltel diamond?
well, i actually have sprint right now, but wanted to switch over to add-a-line on my boyfriend's account seeing as the phone not only would be chepaer but the plan would be, too. however, after all this BS im hearing with verizon (which is ALL im hearing, apparently verizon is crap), it might just be worth it to pay to 200$ for the phone and 60$ a month, that is if it's worth it.
any other comformations that sprint has a diamond-faceted back? |

any other comformations that sprint has a diamond-faceted back? and, as for the phone itself.. i hear mixed opinions.. is the phone intself worth it, or should i find another? only owners rather than reviewers could really answer this question, i suppose. and again, im sure it depends on the network as well. |

Don't buy the Verizon or the Alltel version. You will be screwed. |
