This is a poll so bear with me. I'm trying to figure out what the consensus is on how you make your battery last if you are able to.

1 ) How long does your battery last?

5 ) How many minutes on the phone do you spend on the average each day?

1 ) About 12 hours.
2 ) MightyROM5 Beta.
3 ) Leave phone in 1X when texting (most of the time), disable automatic screen brightness, disable Voice Command, disable QuickGPS, sync e-mail manually, kill Opera9.exe from loading on startup.
4 ) 50-100 but usually 100.
5 ) 10-30.
6 ) Maybe the occassional web surfing and checking of the weather. Also I manually check my e-mail.
7 ) No.
8 ) No.

6 ) Opera Mobile for about an hour, and Email 3 times a day. Tv for 30 minutes too.

7 ) Do you use bluetooth or wi-fi a lot and how much? bluetooth=rarely, wifi=see question 6
8 ) Do you have any practical suggestions not already mentioned?have a charger handy at all times

6 ) How many data related activities do you do? Include how frequent you check e-mail.few hours on wifi/wifi router, emails every hour or so, palringo, opera for 30 minutes or so, weather updates every few hours, alot of modding(UI,new apps,new UI's ect).

8 ) Do you have any practical suggestions not already mentioned? Flash atr3 and see how it works for you, I also set auto disconnect to 30 sec. and unchecked allow all incoming beams...other then that I dont do anymore tweaks.

Also to add, when im not at work I have to roam constantly, which uses a little more battery power as well.

6 ) How many data related activities do you do? Include how frequent you check e-mail. opera 3-4 hrs (plus about 30 mins downloading podcasts), updating rss feeds every 20-30 mins, updating weather every hour, 30 mins on pockeTwit, email every 30 mins (I use about 4.5 GIGS of data a month)

yea... i did 6 days last week actually when I was out of town.....i didnt use the phone at all....except a few texts... but yes i do 2-3 easily....go to spj and check the atr thread....everyone has confirm that battery life....numerous of times....

6 Opera about an hour, i use my Pre for internet, weather updating every hour, email is set to 15 min intervals, Sprint TV 20 min,
7 i use BT with MOTO T505 about 30-45 min a day (to and from work) and MOTO H680 from 9am to 6pm. No wifi
8-no pratical answer except make sure data is disconnected when not using it for a lengthy period.

I have been on xda and ppc, I regularly reside on SPJ. I do not understand how this went from being a poll to flaming folks. I do not appreciate all the BS and "cryptic" crap. I use ATR, put my hubby on ATR, put another buddy on ATR and there's another that isn't. We all have TPs. The one that isn't is using the stock rom, no mods at all. He has to carry a charger with him, he has light usage and his phone only holds a charge for like 4 hours. Of the four of us, I have the most usage. With palringo, twitter, facebook and youtube running, kids playing teeter while we are driving, watching a movie every once in a while, sending emails, texting on average 100+ times a day, and of course utilizing my unlimited minute plan all the time to the tune of about 4 - 6 hours worth of calls every day; my battery has died on me once since running ATR. That was when I forgot to plug it in when I took a nap one morning. It only gets charged for about 4 hours a night. That is a lot more information than just the answers to the poll questions. There is more that needs to be known to make a real call as to whether or not the battery life is worth changing to a rom. And before you start questioning someone in regards to what they posted, you might want to read the whole thread. The mods and people that help out in these forums have really tough skin because they have to put up with people who don't know much of anything trying to act like they know more than a mod does. If so, why don't you help out more. Like my grandma said, if you can't say it to my face, it's not worth my time.

1 ) How long does your battery last? Monday thru Saturday, typical work week, 20 hours without a charge. Sunday, it stays on the charger.

3 ) What tweaks have you done besides what came with your ROM? have several cabs installed, several of which were offered with the rom.
4 ) How many text messages do you approximately receive a day? Receive - 50, send - about the same. Not including updates sent from twitter.
5 ) How many minutes on the phone do you spend on the average each day? average day - 3 hours
6 ) How many data related activities do you do? Include how frequent you check e-mail. It stays online with Palringo and Twitter, I use IE at least an hour a day, my last bill says data usage was 14gig.
7 ) Do you use bluetooth or wi-fi a lot and how much? Bluetooth, jabra, all the time. Wifirouter (thanks SPJ) at least an hour a day, usually more
8 ) Do you have any practical suggestions not already mentioned? Be mindful of the fact that batteries have memories. If you use it one way all the time, when you change your demands, do not expect that it will act the same.

i was just answering the questions besides its all true i just wanted to inform the guy and anyone else who is a flashaholic if it werent forr chefs making mistakes and me figuring out how to fix bugs all the time my rom wouldnt be so great i made mine just the way most chefs say to do it "myself" and without a comp on shipped locked os thanks. if your going to delete my jokes atleast admit that its true.

lmaoooo, okay guys stay on topic here man...coz will start issuing infractions or sumtin very soon....just to throw it in there, my battery life is a bit less than taylorspj's b/c I have a tp..im runnin ATR6.5(its a silent beta) and yes,all the regs are our very own taylorspj that no one has and I believe NO ONE!!!!!!!
